Remove people and objects from photos online
Object Remover is Pixsolo's inpainting tool: upload a photo, draw boxes around what you don't want — people, clutter, power lines, spots, stray text — and click Remove selected areas. They're erased and filled in with the surrounding background. Only the boxed areas change; everything else stays exactly as it was, and the result keeps the original resolution. Box several areas at once or keep going on the result, undo or go back to the original at any time, and compare side by side before you download. On a phone you can take a photo and edit it right away.

Remove what you don't want in three steps
- 01
Upload an image
Drop in, paste or choose an image — JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more. On a phone you can take a photo directly.
- 02
Box and remove
Drag boxes around the people, clutter or stray text — shadows included — and click Remove selected areas. The result is ready in seconds.
- 03
Compare and download
Drag the divider to compare with the original, then pick a format and download. Not happy? Undo, or box again and remove more.
What you can do
Remove people and clutter
Box passers-by, poles, bins or clutter, and they're erased and filled in with the surrounding background.
Remove stray text and blemishes
Stray text, spots, scratches and specks can be boxed and removed too.
Original resolution
Only the boxed areas are replaced. Everything outside stays pixel-for-pixel the same, and the result is the same size as the original.
Several areas, several passes
Box several areas in one go, keep removing on the result, and undo or go back to the original at any time.
Compare and zoom
Drag the divider to compare with the original, hold Compare to see the original, and zoom to 100% to check details.
Original format, PNG or JPG
Download in the same format as your upload, or choose PNG or JPG. Transparent PNGs stay transparent.
Where your image goes and how long it's kept
When you click Remove selected areas, the image (for large images, only the part around your boxes) is sent to Baidu AI Cloud (servers in mainland China) for processing and is used only to produce your result. The original and each step's result are kept in temporary storage for a few hours and then deleted automatically — the tool shows exactly how long. Object Remover doesn't save to My Library, so your images aren't kept long-term. See our Privacy Policy for details.
FAQ
- Does Object Remover cost anything?
- Every account gets a few free runs each day. After that, each run uses credits, which come with a subscription plan. One run can cover several boxed areas. The tool shows how many free runs you have left today and how many credits a run costs. Nothing is charged if a run fails, and undoing, going back to the original or downloading in another format costs nothing extra.
- Which formats are supported? How big is the result?
- You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame only), HEIC, AVIF, BMP and TIFF; the file size limit is shown in the tool. The result has the same resolution as the original. Download it in the same format as your upload, or as PNG or JPG; images with a transparent background stay transparent as PNG.
- Are my images stored?
- Not long-term. When you remove something, the image (for large images, only the part around your boxes) is sent to Baidu AI Cloud (servers in mainland China), only to produce your result. The original and each step's result are deleted automatically after a few hours in temporary storage, and Object Remover doesn't save to My Library.
- What can it remove? What if the result isn't good?
- It works best on fairly small things — passers-by, clutter, wires, spots, stray text — and the simpler the background, the better. Fit each box closely with a little margin, and include shadows and reflections. On a flat background a faint outline of the box can sometimes remain; draw a smaller box and remove again. Large or very detailed areas may time out — split them into a few smaller boxes. Nothing is charged if a run fails.
- Which images can I edit?
- Only edit images you have the right to change, such as your own photos, designs and product shots. Signatures, watermarks and other copyright marks on other people's work are rights notices — please don't remove them with this tool.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. On a phone you can take a photo or pick one from your library; the image sits on top with the controls below. Use Select to draw boxes, and Move or two fingers to pan and zoom. Hold Compare to see the original.
